At OlgaMirza.Ballet, we uphold a professional Dress code to create a focused, respectful, and unified learning environment for all students. The Dress code is not just about appearance; it plays an important role in every dancer’s training and success!

Why Dress code is important:

Supports technique and corrections

Fitted dancewear allows the teacher to clearly see posture, alignment, and muscle engagement. This ensures that each student receives accurate corrections and learns safe, proper technique.

Encourages discipline and focus

Wearing proper uniform helps students mentally prepare for class and adopt the discipline that is essential in ballet art. It sets a serious, but inspiring tone from the moment a dancer enters the studio.

Promotes equality

A consistent dress code removes distractions and comparison, helping all students feel like part of the same team – our “ballet family”, which is focused on learning and growing together!

Builds Confidence

When dancers are dressed appropriately and neatly, they carry themselves with more pride and confidence, both in and out of class.

BUT!

Once every 2 months, there is “A WEEK WITHOUT UNIFORM!” – the whole week event, when students can wear whatever, they like: any kind of leotards, skirts, ballet tutus, hairstyle (but still no jewelry, sorry). Total freedom and almost no boundaries!

We kindly ask all students and families to follow the dress code guidelines provided at the time of registration. If you have any questions or need help finding the right uniform, we’re happy to assist, contact us via email omb@olgamirza-ballet.com

Thank you for helping us maintain high standards in a nurturing and beautiful learning space!
